This tree didn't wait for someone else to grow out of a rock, it just did it. So should you, do your own thing! Don't wait for the masses to tell you it's ok. Ignore the people that doubt you, what do they know anyway?
No one ever achieved anything great without first going it alone and doing something no one else was doing. By breaking the mold you're virtually guaranteed to stand out from the crowd. This is a good thing. In a sea of sameness it's good to be bold and be different.
Big corporations pay tens of thousands of dollars for market research so others can tell them what to be, what to stand for and how they should act. Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Mark Zuckerberg... These guys didn't wait for the world to tell them what they should be or what they should do. They had vision, they stood for something and they created incredible products by following their instincts and ignoring the crowds.
